I’ve heard it too many times, "my neurologist said he doesn’t ‘believe’ in PANDAS so he won’t test for it".
PANDAS and PANS are not a religion that require belief, they are scientifically proven disease states that have a specific cause and can be treated.
If you are working with a neurologist ignorant enough to practice medicine as a religion rather than a science, you should drop him ASAP.
